Following the completion of its detailed tectonic mapping, our attention is now on a newly discovered pockmark field—an exciting finding that has exceeded our expectations and opened up entirely new research questions.

These discoveries are driving the planning of additional research missions, as we continue to explore a gulf that lies on our doorstep, yet still holds many secrets beneath its seafloor.
